Home button doesn't work, and screen lights up every couple seconds

My phone got a little misted while near the ocean, nothing big, but I figured I would dry it anyway. A couple days later when I tried to use it, the home button would not click, but it would still read a fingerprint. In addition, the screen lights up every 30 seconds or so without me touching anything. I have cut away the cover and cleaned it all out so that nothing is touching the home button, but it still lights up draining my battery quick.

Oh ya, while in my pocket yesterday, I heard some noises occasionally, and every single time my phone was trying to dial the emergency number or add emergency details for me. It was all gibberish, but I don't even know how to get to that part of my phone.

I would recommend you putting the phone in a bowl of rice for at least a day. The rice does a good job absorbing the moisture.
There is also an Samsung app called SoftKey Edge that provides a home button function from the lockscreen and when you unlock your phone. That can help you navigate your phone until can figure out the status of your phone.
