Phone not charging...

AC would mean "alternating current". Actually the phone isn't receiving AC, but since that's what the mains supply is it's a shorthand for "using a wall charger" as opposed to "using a USB socket".

In other words, that sounds like a normal charging message, and indicates that the charger is supplying a normal amount of current (rather than the reduced amount a USB socket on a computer can provide). It gives no indication of why the phone is not charging.
