Hello

I'm working on the classic Minesweeper game for mobile platforms
Minesweeper Go as opposed to classic version adds a lot of features oriented for advanced players.

Beta version of the game released and can be installed on Android play market

Here is a small list of key features:

- Game playback
Each game is recorded and you can playback it any time you want.

- Advanced chording
Chord can be applied recursively so players can achieve fastest board solving times.

- Personal comprehensive score board with various benchmarks.

- Advanced benchmarks.
Minesweeper Go calculates players 3BV/s values, Taps count, Taps/s, RQP, IOS, IOE and some other stats that are valuable for advanced players.

- Explicit Non-Flagging (NF) mode.
Game is made with No-Flaggers in mind

- 3BV control feature
You can generate a custom minefield with predefined 3BV value.

- Online World Ranking table
All players can participate in World Ranking. Each player records can be viewed (and replayed) by other players to make sure of theirs authenticity.

- Cheats.

Undo on fail, etc.

Hello, I have just published Minesweeper GO update.

A lot has been done to support player personalization.

Changelog:

- Created left navigation menu- User personalization features:

Update your avatar
Change your name
Change your country

- Fixed double tap detection bug that was a cause for some game recordings played incorrectly (Only new games will be recorded without this issue)

- Fixed issues with cropped player names within World Ranking list

- World Ranking moved to the navigation menu

- Make game options selectable by tapping on the whole item, not only on the selector control

Hello

Next Minesweeper GO update has been published.
New update is aimed to improve user experience with minefield scrolling and includes a lot of advanced scroll tuning options.

Changelog:

- New minefield scroll tuning options:

Tune scroll acceleration
Tune scroll attenuation
Tune tap to scroll sensivity

- Fixed another Video Recorder bug that lead to corrupted video recordings
- UI fixes and improvements on World Ranking and Ranking details screens

New Minesweeper GO update is live.

Added Live (Active) Ranking feature

Live Ranking shows on-line player rankings separately for each game difficulty (Beg/Int/Exp). Rankings can be filtered by style (FL/NF) and narrowed by date filter (for example to show only Today/Week/Month or All Time rankings).

At the end of each calendar period best player is chosen to become the Leader of this period. Player stays to be a Leader until the end of the current period.
News Feed feature. Notifications of game updates, server maintenance and other events will be published here
Show more info on game Result dialog.
Added notices to determine how current game result is close to the local record

New Minesweeper GO update is live (v1.0.12)

Added UI theming support
To change overall application look and fell choose and apply any of Main themes (New themes will be available soon)

Each Main theme has a bunch of minefield themes that can be changed independently of Main theme. (You can think of them as sub-themes) To change minefield theme of active Main theme just go to Minefield tab on Themes screen.
Added simple sound effects
Implemented vibration on long taps

New Minesweeper GO update is live (v1.0.15)

Most noticeable feature of this update is Portrait Orientation option for Expert board.
Using this option you can setup Expert board in a way that most of it is visible on screen.
Time you spend on scrolling Expert board will be substantially reduced.

Changelog:

Enabled Portrait mode on Expert board
Set long tap threshold in Options
Increased zoom out degree. Enabled zoom in/out on Beginner board
Fixed crash on startup on some old devices that doesn't support large textures
Fixed occasional crash on exiting minefield scene when timer is active

Introduced Rank system. Now players will achieve game ranks by demining minefields. The higher the rank of the player, the more he is respected in the world of minesweeper.

Improved board zoom in/out. Now Expert minefield easily can fit on the screen of your device

After six months of initial beta release Minesweeper GO has came a long way and at last released to public.
I am very grateful to all of you for support and testing.

Nevertheless I have a long list of things that I want to implement, so I'll keep working on this game but slightly at slower rate.

Minesweeper GO update is live (v1.0.30)

Minesweeper GO update is live (v1.0.34)

While playing minesweeper sometimes you'll get to that point that you can't move forward by using logic so you'll have to pick squares randomly.
This update brings some unique features that will help you resolve or completely avoid such annoying situations.

Changelog:

Magic Wand of Luck. Depending on the state of target square after magic wand is charged appropriate action will be applied: flag will be set if there is a mine or square will be uncovered if it is safe. This is powerful tool so to keep balance you no longer have any excuse to make a mistake. You will lose instantly if try to use magic wand while any logical solutions exist.
Guess Free mode. In this mode logical solution is guaranteed for any minefield. You can turn on guess free boards in game settings.
Smart Hints. Smart hint shows you tile configurations with safe squares that can be uncovered given the current state of the board. They not only indicate safe squares but also explain why they are safe. The mechanism of generating hints doesn't have access to yet uncovered squares. It only knows as much as a player knows.

Minesweeper GO update is live (v1.0.47)

This update introduces new game mode - minesweeper online Tournament.
Now you can compete with your friends online, or with any player around the globe.

To win tournament you must complete one or more game rounds before any of your opponents.
There are three difficulty options that you can choose to play (Beg, Int, Exp). Up to 9 players can compete simultaneously. All participants play the same boards in the same order.

Earn points, gain experience and collect cups. Have fun!

Tournament Hall – list of best minesweeper players on online tournament
Long tap threshold minimum value decreased down to 120ms
Autosave feature
Game collects stats of longest winning/losing streaks

Minesweeper GO update is live (v1.0.53)

Since last post a lot of things has been added, changed and improved.
Most important Minesweeper GO now is available on App Store!

Changelog:

Tournament: you can review the progress of all tournament participants without closing the tournament completion popup window. Along with tournament progress, you can see how many times players hit a mine
Tournament: you can play minesweeper (practice) while waiting until players join tournament game
Tournament: new constraint option - Fair Battle. When this option is enabled by the tournament owner, players that are more than 15% faster by time would not be allowed to join.
The duration of the vibration can be configured in the game options
Volume button can be used to toggle between flagging/clearing modes
Increased max level of zoom in (up to 6 visible squares along the shortest side of the screen)
A lot of bugs are fixed
