It had a good life, despite being an electroholic I really did love that lil fella. Still, the LG G4 is going strong, but may still be retired too, in favour of an S8, depending on how the S3 divided it's estate in it's will.

Good to see some familiar faces, hope the one's I know are doing good! Let's all play nice and hope Trump doesn't start a nukepocolypse, that would be shame indeed.

I still use my S3 daily at work for streaming. I replaced the battery about 4 years ago with an Anker extended battery and it still goes a few days on a charge.

I don't pretend to know what the laws are where you are, as they vary so much from state to state, but up here even Packies (for some reason we call them Package Stores here in New England) that don't typically carry them may order them on request. They'll make room in their cooler for a regular customer knowing it won't be there but for a few hours.

I'm going to see how this barrel goes before I make the ultimate commitment. The full conversion is going to cost me my "smoking fridge," so I'll have to come up with either another fridge or somewhere else to put large pieces of meat as I prep it for grilling. If it goes well, I'll drill the hole in the door as I already have a bar tap made for a fridge door. I need to do a little disassembly of the fridge to make sure I can drill a hole in the side or back to run the CO2 hose without hitting anything else. That way I can store the CO2 cannister outside of the fridge. That will allow me to put a second 1/4 barrel in the fridge as the live one nears empty, so it will be settled when it is time to tap it.

l'm a faithful patron of one store in town. I've not talked to the owner, just his help. They informed me they don't do kegs and they were certain nobody in town did them. I'm thinking the owner will work with me when I buy or build a kegerator. He's been very good about buying and keeping for me beers I wanted.

I've considered building a kegerator. It can be done at a savings. I will be replacing the refrigerator anyway so I will most likely buy an oem model. It will give me the drip tray that a home built will not. Not that I'm messy (don't ask my wife) but it will reside in my office.

I hadn't considered a drip tray. I think I'll make a bracket to hold one of the foil drip pans that my Blackstone's use. That way I can just toss it when it gets bad.

That sounds like a plan. I think it would be easy enough to make a rack to hold a disposable tray. A metal coat hanger, pair of needle nose pliers, and a couple of sheet metal screws. If only I could keep the cat from messing with it. :)
