Freebie Promotion With Note 8?

Guys, I'm SERIOUSLY impressed with Samsung's turn around on the promotional giveaway this go 'round. Submitted Wednesday and got my 360 camera this morning. Talk about impressed! Any one else get theirs yet?

Totally agree. I ordered my phone last week on first pre order day. And then saw it shipped and thought it was just going to be held up at the FedEx depot. But it was realised for delivery on Tuesday after labor day.

I got the convertible charger and 256 GB Micro SD card. I was pleasantly surprised it was 256 GB instead of the advertised 128 GB card

Wow, 256 gigabyte? They had promoted it as 128, so that is really impressive! I went with the other promotion since I already had the 256 gigabyte card I got to keep from the whole 7 rebate last December. I threw the camera up on eBay yesterday unopened with a minimum of $82, and it already has been bid on. After all the money I put into the Note 7 and all the time and cost and all that, my goal is just to be able to sit by me this Note 8 have cheaply as possible. This is a really good phone! It has everything to Note 7 and more! I had a really hard time giving up at no 7 that I had since last August through January. That was the best phone I have ever had until this one!

I submitted my receipt for the charger and sd card on Sept 8th and got a notification that it will ship the week of Oct 9th. Did those of you who received your freebies already get a similar notification?

I registered on Tuesday when I got my phone. Within 30 seconds, I got an email saying mine was approved and would ship the week of Sept 25th. However, I looked at the status from within the shop Samsung app, and it says Oct 9th.

I've seen this from about 5 different people now, so I'm hoping it's not a mistake that won't be changed by the time I get mine. :D

There's a new model of the 256 gb card, the '2017' version.

<br> Speculation, but perhaps samsung are getting rid of old stock of last years card. Ive the old card form last year.

Hmmmm, I could swear that the packaging of my 256 GB card said 2017, but I can't confirm that because I threw the packaging away and the trash picked up yesterday. But your speculation seem very plausible.

My promotion came with the phone, got my note, charger pad and 256gb card yesterday

I liked that. But I chose the camera because of the resale value and the advertising said it was 125g and I know it would have pissed me off not having the largestg memory possible. But now that I know imthey gave 256 it pissed me off a little. Because now I can't sell this camera for any more than 150

Yes but a month? Where do you live? That seems long. I got my gear 360 before the phone lol

I just now got an email, and a notification from the Shop Samsung app that my free gifts have shipped, and there's a FedEx tracking number. Got all excited at first, but when I track, the number they provided me was from January, and was delivered to TN on 01/07/2017. Dang it! Wondering if they just made typo while entering the tracking number. Hope so, I'd hate to have to start a trouble ticket if I don't get the gifts.
