Accessories Aukey 3.0 charging speed cords cables ?

Any experience with the Aukey 3.0 fast charging speeds.
I was looking at a set of 5 charging cord cables ( CB-CM2 ), linked below.
Is 3.0 okay for the Note 8 versus 2.0 ?
Any experiences?

I just bought these on Amazon and expecting them to arrive today. Spare cords never hurt as I always misplace them or they fail to work after some time.

Ok. I just gave them a quick run and they are USB 3.0 and do support fast charging if using an adaptive fast charger and/or battery pack that supports fast charging only. If using a normal battery pack or regular adapter, it will charge like any other device. It will not do any fast charging if connected to an USB 3.0 port on a computer either (tested my Surface Pro 2; I never expected it to as it doesn't have enough power from the port to do so). However, it does have USB 3.0 transfer speeds connecting to a USB 3.0 port. Transfer speeds of course will vary based on the hardware you are using. It is considerably slower when transferring to/from an external SD card within the phone. Again, due to hardware/software limitations and protocols used. I have not tested it on any USB 2.0 ports. But there should be no issues as it will step down to what USB 2.0 can handle (as with any other USB 3.0 device on USB 2.0 and vice versa).

These cords are braided and feel very durable. The silver connectors are indeed metal and they will warm up with use. The cables are also rigid, but are somewhat flexible which adds to what should make them very durable. They are also much thicker than the OEM cable provided by Samsung. Overall, I am quite impressed with them and expect them to last me a good while.

edit: the battery pack I used and tested the cables on are an Anker PoweCore 10000 with Qualcom Quickcharge 3.0.

Which plug-in wall charger did you purchase from Aukey, if any?
I used the official Samsung adaptive fast charge travel adapter. As long as the adapter or external battery supports fast charging, there should be no issues with these cables from what I can see.

I was thinking of the braided nylon cables CB-CMD2 too, but if they are really to stiff, maybe Aukey's regular cables CB-CMD5 are still durable enough?
They may be. Though if it's a thick cable shroud, they could be just as rigid and flexible as the braided nylon. I guess another good thing about the braided cable is that they are less prone to twist and tangle due to their rigid, yet flexible nature.

The longer cables can be wound and they will keep that way at a certain diameter without the need for any cable ties. But if you want it to be tightly wound, you need to use cable ties to ensure it doesn't spring back to it's 'natural' state. These cords can somewhat be molded too due to their semi-rigid state.

Additionally, I purchased the Aukey 10 USB charger, and the USB 2.0/3.0 cigarette lighter adapter chargers and they work GREAT!!! I have had this product for over a month and I'm planning on using it with my new Note 8 when I get it. So far, no issues with my Note 3 and it is backwards compatible as someone mentioned above. I think you'll like this product!
