Yes, that's probably a good idea. All the overclocking is now done manually, rather than via the 'pete' script.
I don't think that should cause the phone to go into a reboot cycle though. I didn't give the phone enough time to auto download, I think, I just went straight onto Wifi and restored all my apps in one fell swoop.
It should auto redownload though. If not, all your apps will be in the downloads section of the market waiting for you.
Funny how such a simple feature is actually quite hard to implement. I think it has to be built into the framework, and I (or Pete, it seems) don't really know how to do that. Sorry
I think there's an app called 'quick boot' that lets you reboot real quick, or even into recovery.
Well you should come up!
BTW, can you put in the reboot option that is in Cyanogenmod? I love that option.
There way to let Pete's script handle it? what will I need to do? I am using Pete's script and not running SetCPu, but I am also running the Default 600MHz too
How is the pete file supposed to look like with Nexbeast V1.01? Because it looks like it still has all the CPU mumbo jumbo on it. Is that right?
echo "ondemand" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor
echo "50" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/ondemand/up_threshold
echo "32000" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/ondemand/sampling_rate
echo "2560,3840,6400,17920,19200,20480" > /sys/module/lowmemorykiller/parameters/minfree
sleep 42s

Yeah, just go to Pete's BB page, download his 600MHz kernel. It will flash his pete script, along with the kernel.
It should look like this:
Code:echo "ondemand" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor echo "50" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/ondemand/up_threshold echo "32000" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/ondemand/sampling_rate echo "2560,3840,6400,17920,19200,20480" > /sys/module/lowmemorykiller/parameters/minfree sleep 42s busybox killall -q com.cooliris.media busybox killall -q com.android.mms busybox killall -q com.android.email busybox killall -q com.motorola.calendar busybox killall -q android.process.media busybox killall -q com.android.deskclock busybox killall -q com.android.bluetooth busybox killall -q com.google.android.apps.uploader busybox killall -q com.android.voicedialer busybox killall -q com.google.android.voicesearch busybox killall -q com.android.settings busybox killall -q com.android.calendar busybox killall -q com.google.android.apps.maps:FriendService busybox killall -q com.google.android.gm busybox killall -q com.amazon.mp3 busybox killall -q com.android.im busybox killall -q android.process.im busybox killall -q com.android.music
I took out the frequency scaling aspects, but I do like his governor, up threshold, and sampling parameters, so I left those in.
Thanks Fab. I see. So if I changed the scaling governor and sampling freq in Set CPU, will it cause conflicts?
I had this issue when I first got my Droid. I upgraded to 1.01 today and now have this problem again.
When I get text message I get white icon notification.
No Handcent or Chomp or other SMS app installed.
No Missed Call installed.
Stock Messaging Application has notifications turned off. When it is "on" I also get green messaging notification icon in addition to the white icon.
Any ideas what I am missing?????
Is there a way at the bottom dock To have 4 instead of 2 and have up to six on the flip dock and mabe in color for the 2 dock side
I think I'm going to reupload the file with some larger battery percentage numbers, as I find the originals to be a little too small. For those of you that have already installed, I will probably make a fix file, but for now, if you know what you're doing, here's the framework.
Be sure to rename to framework-res.apk, and push to /system/framework/
All that I changed is the font from 12 point to 15 point. Makes a big difference in legibility though, IMO. Gotta run to the bank though, but I'll have at least an update.zip to fix this when I get back.
framework-res-bigpercent.apk
EDIT: UGH, as I just found out (remembered), you will need to resign into Google if you push the framework. BLAHHH.

Ive never had to push a framework to the phone but I have used adb. What are the full commands or are you going to make a zip file?
adb shell sysrw
adb push framework-res.apk /system/framework
adb reboot
fab do you know any way to get the battery % on petes rom with the smoke glass theme?
oot
[/code]
What I did was hard code them into the battery icons using Photoshop. Until Pete actually builds in the function to the framework, this is the only way
I dont know if anyone else is having this issue but I did all the necessay. nandroid wipe data ect. I installed the rom and then went to use titanium backup. I ran the batch to install the apps. After running it I went to put my screens back together and I noticed some of the apps didnt install, so I went back into titanium and it showed that 19 didnt install. I ran the batch again to install the missing ones. Still after running the batches they still dont show up.
So I decided to go to the market and install them manually and when I open them up in the market instead of having the install button on the bottom instead it has both the open and install buttons but they are both greyed out and I cannot click ether one.
Is anyone else having this issue or Fab do you know why this is happening?
