Hey guys, I hope someone here can help me out. I just recently encountered an error with my phone, where it gets stuck at the startup. freezes in other places, and is now restarting often.

I have a phone through straight talk (Samsung Galaxy Core Prime), and whenever I start it with the micro sd card inserted, things seem to go wrong. First it would get stuck at the screen that says "A service of tracfone wireless inc". After a bit, I was able to finally get to the home screen, but even there it would often freeze up on me.

And now, it keeps repeating those same problems above, and sometimes restarts on its own. If I take the micro SD card out, it seems to work fine. With the SD card in, I can use the phone a little bit, but it continues to repeat these issues. Just now it re-started and got stuck again.

I tried clearing out some file space, but I don't think that's the issue, as I have a ton of space on the SD card and seem to have enough space on my phone. Could there be an issue with the SD card?

It might be a corrupt sd card.

I've had issues with my phone and it took me time to realize that it was my SD. The way i found out was when i plugged my sd card into a comp. It was slowing down the computer. I tried copying files and it took 3 hours to copy 1gb!! still not sure why it got corrupted.

I believe that is what it might be. I'm in the process of moving pictures and other files to my older laptop, and it the copy speeds go right down to 0 and don't move. I'm going to try and move my files to drop box or google and see if I can just re-format the SD card and see if that works.
