Google claims to be "actively investigating" the Pixel 2 XL screen burn-in issues

Over the weekend, people with review units of the Pixel 2 XL began noticing a problem. No, not the already-known issues of muddy color and grainy textures when viewed in low-light, but one that’s potentially more worrisome: screen burn-in.

I got my unit last night, so I have very minimal time with the device.
What I CAN say is the blue tint which I thought would bother me a lot, is indeed slightly there and does not bother me at all, not at all. And I'm coming from a S7 Edge, which is now in my daughter's possession. So far, I love everything about this device BUT if burn-in does indeed happen, that is a deal-breaker and I will not be so happy.

Again, the blue hue is there to some extent, but somehow it just doesn't overly present itself or it just doesn't grab my attention that much.
