WhatsApp is rolling out a new update to all phones this week, that will allow you to Unsend messages within 7 minutes of sending.
Here's how it works.
If you send a message or file to someone and you realize that you sent it to the wrong person, you will be able to do the following:
1.Long press on the message
2. Press on the delete icon on the top of the screen
If it's within 7min. Of sending, it will give you the option 'delete for everyone' press on that
Now instead of the message, it will say 'you deleted this message' and the recipients phone will say 'this message was deleted'
Note:
You can only do this within 7 minutes of sending
The message will only get deleted when the recipient has network coverage.
You will not get a notification wether it was deleted or not.
