Root [UNOFFICIAL][d320n d325 ms323][5.0.2] NamelessROM

Sorry, but any of you tried flashing this ROM on L70 D325 Dual? Does it work? 'Cause I did the factory reset, wiped everything, but gapps failled and when I booted my phone i got a purple screen. I got back to stock but I want to try this ROM, can anyone help me?
It works, but on first boot take out SIM card because setup wizard will crash. Other than that it works without problems o dual sim devices. The probolem you described (purple screen) is usually caused by faulty aboot.img. There's a thread jsut for that here on the forum so search it out.

Just installed your ota update and it caused a boot loop it boots almost but stops at starting apps then restarts the process I'm on the ms323 and I got it to boot again by flashing your last release back over the ota. Any idea why this was caused I uses exposed with gravity box if that could be it?
Nope, it's because Official version and Unofficial has different things in them which might cause that.

I don't use xposed myself, so I can't help you much. If it is xposed related (probably is) consider that xposed for 5.1.1 isn't even officialy supported by rovo89, afaik. All major roms tend to just ignore xposed related bug reports, anyway, because of its alpha-ishness :)

@willis_willis I just realized this is 5.0.2 thread. I must grab myself a cup of coffee first. You must do a clean install, you cannot just ota from 5.0.2 to 5.1.1. Plus, as Litros said, official release has different signature than unofficial, so that's also a reason for failure.

Long story short, do a clean install (wipe data, system, cache, dalvik cache).

My android version has always said 5.1.1 sense I first flashed this ROM I was always confused on the 5.0.2 thing but thank you I'll try and see if there's any different results

Edit: that worked but I'm still wondering why mine has been 5.1.1 this whole time I have a back up from 48 days ago a d its on 5.1.1 nameless and I'm positive I got it from this form. And for future reference you shouldn't tell people to wipe system I've only ever wiped the system once and that was to get off the carbon ROM and it left me with a completely blank phone no aboot file no nothing and it took me a good 3 hours to find and figure out how to get it to work again and most people just read the form try it without even knowing what there doing just fallowing directions witch directions aren't anything if you don't have basic knowledge to not mess up

Yes it blanks system partition, but wiping system is something rom itself does when installing (unless ota, then gapps and stuff can survive). I recommend wiping system because sometimes, zip doesn't do it itself (sometimes phone confuses fresh rom as ota), so problems may arise. Had that problem when I flashed aokp kk over slimkat.
Yes, it is dangerous, but that's why you always make a backup when you do something in recovery :)

I'm only asking here because it started ether on this ROM or the carbon ROM but I've had unlimited 4g and I'm on the 40$ metro plan that only has 250mb 4g any idea why this may be? Its been this wat sense December so thinking about it it may have been the carbon ROM more likely but if its something you didn't know about pm me how to get any logs you'd want to see because I've been wondering about this for a long time now but just ignored it because well who would complain ?

I think this is provider problem. Device can't make downgrade of your plan.

Definitely provider problem. Device doesn't affect you voice and data plans in any way.

EDIT:

btw, 5.0.2 builds are deprecated, I strongly advise to move to 5.1.1 builds which are by the way official and have OTA support :)
