Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S8 Android 8.0 Oreo beta in the near future. The license agreement for the upcoming Galaxy Beta Program has now gone live which suggests that the launch isn’t that far off.

1 hour and 20 odd minutes in. How's it looking @tube517?

Did a backup before the update
Cleared cache partition after the update.

Looks great! GIF support is now available in the samsung keyboard

Long press a (supported) app and it shows shortcuts to taks within that app. I'll upload a screenshot later.

Dual Messenger - Not sure what this is. I only have one Whatsapp account so I'll have to check this out.

Lot more stuff to check out.

I'm having pretty good luck with the beta as well. The biggest issue I have is that Solid Explorer does not see my sd card. The Samsung File manager and Poweramp both can access it without issue. A post on XDA said the Solid Ex needs to be updated for Oreo and the poster offered a workaround. If you enable "show root storage" (root not required) you can find the card listed as a bunch of letters and numbers. I just pinned that as a favorite so I can get to the card with digging in too far.

I was considering rolling back but after clearing the cache partition and giving it a bit of time it seemed to settle down.

I also saw the PIP thing with YouTube. It just popped up when I clicked a link.
