Laugh at iPhone x thread

Actually the iPhone 7 and 8 are both IP67.

The difference between 67 and 68 doesn't bother me much. Both are rated to survive immersion, neither really means 'designed for use underwater', and an extra 50cm depth isn't a deal maker or breaker for me (clearly, since my phone is also IP67).

My point was that the speaker may sound worse because of ip68.

Interestingly, one time I got sea water on my old 7edge and it prevented me from changing it via USB for more that a fortnight before I realised that swilling it in fresh/tap water makes it usable in 30 mins.

My brother just got one, he's had iPhones for a long time (had an Android way back when but switched). Now, he's not the most technical person out there so this revelation he had may simply be user error so bear that in mind.

I was talking to him the other night and he said:
I'm sure you probably already have this (because he knows Apple didn't invent everything) but one of the things I love about this phone is that the time is on almost every screen now, I don't have to keep hitting the home button the check the time. That's really helpful and pretty neat.

Now, if that really is a new feature I too am amazed.

edit: OK, apparently he's on crack. I just looked at a bunch of images and it looks like it's always been there.

My sister bought one. The only new addition to their pathetic and boring OS is a recent app "carousel". Yay. The phone is still pretty much a carbon copy of every other iPhone.

The X camera, I will say, takes better photos than any smartphone I've seen yet. Still doesn't make it worth what they are charging for it. But it does kinda make up for every lousy camera iPhones had before.

You still suck Apple! Die already!
