Survey shows older people prefer the Galaxy S8 to iPhone 8 or iPhone X

In a new Forbes survey, 38% of adults worldwide said that they wanted the Galaxy S8. On the other hand, only 20% and 22% of them chose the recently released iPhone X and the iPhone 8 which preceded the iPhone X, respectively.

But teenagers in America were the other way around. 28% of teenagers chose the Galaxy S8 while 35% of them said that they wanted to receive iPhone X and iPhone 8 on Christmas.

That's because Apple's IOS is hard to use! I can jump back and forth between Windows 10 and Android no sweat. Hand me an Apple product it takes me 5 minutes just to do basic things. It's also the price of Apple products too.
Hard to use is usually a matter of what you are used to. By that reckoning I would describe Windows 10 as hard to use as it takes me longer than any other major OS, but the reality is that's because I rarely use Windows.

iOS has fewer shortcut options than Android, so I can do things much faster on Android (slower on a Samsung, as they rearrange a lot of things, but that's again a "what you are used to" matter). The one thing I think is genuinely complicated in iOS is the way that some app settings are accessed through the Settings app and some from the app itself. But otherwise iOS isn't hard to use, and indeed I know several people in their 80s with no knowledge of IT who handle iPads easily. If you think it's hard to use I'm afraid it's you rather than the OS.

If you'd said it's a bit boring though I'd have agreed with you ;)

That is because we are way cooler than them, we know more cool stuff, and we dress hella sharp, (We smoke WAY better weed) and listen to the best music, and we're not putting up with their youthful shenanigans any more! Nope!
Now get off our lawns! Nyah!

Worldwide? Hmm that's a really hard statistical claim to pull off....

... Would only make sense as a story if they published their methodology and statistical caveats. For example, how is the customer demand weighted in Argentina relative to France and what effect does that have in bringing up the Global score?

Or did they just ask Amy's pet rabbits and let them guess the numbers?
