Help Bluetooth Pairing Issue

Hi I'm having an issue with pairing my Bluetooth speaker to my V30. Hoping some here can advise a solution.

My speaker is the Philips Shoqbox. I turn it on and it announces ready to pair, I go into the V30's Bluetooth setting screen and hit search, but the V30 doesn't find the Shoqbox.

I've never had an issue pairing my iPad with the Shoqbox.

The V30 is successfully paired with a number of my other devices (cars, watch, headphones, etc.).

Make sure it's not connected to a different device while trying to pair. If it's connected to your ipod and you try pairing with a different phone, it won't show up. Either disconnect it from your ipod or go out of range of any paired devices

Thanks for the advice. I usually use the speaker with my iPad, but I did ensure to turn off the Bluetooth on the iPad before trying to pair the speaker with the V30.

Sounds like a codec problem. I was having the same issue with my Nexus 6p after the Android 8 upgrade. After I changed the Bluetooth codec being used - the problem went away!

It's in the Developer Options settings. To enable Developer Options, go to About phone in Settings, then tap Build number seven times.

Then go to Settings-> System-> Developer Options and then scroll down to Bluetooth Audio Codec
