I am an idiot, so I avoided doing a manual change to Nougat. Last night I finally got an official notification for an upgrade to Nougat. I didn't have enough space, so I deleted some apps but I haven't gotten another notification for an upgrade. Is there a way to start the process or should I just wait until I get the notification again?

There's a section towards the bottom of the settings list that does say check for updates. The link should be there. It's near the item About Phone.
Someone on another forum had to pull the SIM card for a minute to get a security update. I had to do that for the Sept update.

Did the update, immediately after getting a battery replacement, (Stock FX30 batteries are available if you look), and now the phone is purring like a corvette, though I can't really see much difference except it feels just a tad bit faster.
