Have you checked charging port for pocket lint? A bad connection could spawn such a message.

I get this all the time from the fast-charger in the car. I just unplug the USB side of the cable - wait 10 seconds and plug it back in and all is fine.
In my experience, it's never the connection to the phone side of the cable that is the problem, it's always the other side of the cable that needs to be reestablished.
