Sorry off this is the wrong thread to bring this up so please redirect me if it is 
But one thing I would really love to be fixed is the bug with the notification bell - it is very glitchy sometimes people respond to threads I find interesting I never know if they have responded or not.
It's a terrible bug or glitch that is extremely annoying but hopefully this can be resolved in the future.
I would really love it to have a flawless notification system that always tells me when I receive a response from a thread I have either contributed to or maybe even read or just looked at.
That would be awesome indeed

I guess you're talking about Forums rather than EarlyBird. EarlyBird does not receive notifications for replies or likes and only for new articles in a topic you follow.
In short, I don't think it's a bug but maybe could be setup better. The way the site and app work is that if you don't read the post that you received a notification/alert for, it won't notify you again until you do. If you swipe the notification away on your phone, that just removed the notification and does not mark the thread/post read.
