Often when I send a text the recipient will get it repeatedly, sometimes over a hundred times. It annoys everyone a communicate with and its gotten to where I don't even want to text anymore. Any ideas why it's doing this or how to fix it? Thanks...

Possibly a problem on your carries side. I would suggest you contact them about it.

Any possibility that you have put in their contact a few times in the 'send to' field? I know it's unlikely that you've put it in 100 times, but you should double check.

Also possible that your messaging app is resending the messages. Try a different one.

It would not have been possible for me to put the same contact in the send to field more than once because I rarely send any mass texts which also means when I send a text it always starts with me opening the contacts list and choosing that person, then writing the text. The problem mentioned above has showed up in other threads as well and different carriers are mentioned so I don't think that is the issue.

Just to give y'all an idea of where I have progressed FROM in my lifetime... I actually used one of these way back when. It was on what was called a "party line", which meant any of your neighbors on the same line could listen in on your calls if they so desired, or you could talk to all your neighbors at the same time. Talk about your original "shared" plan!

I went through all these problems a year ago also... Almost lost my new job over this... Never found a fix, went back to G Stylo.

I'm now Belatedly applying all updates and will test porting from Metro to Tmo as a backup. If it is fixed, AND increasing Dpi doesn't cause issues, I may consider replacing the new Stylo 3+ with this.

What a waste of time on this shoddy company and phone.
Thought I was getting Nougat, since that Beta started a year ago.
All that came in was a couple of tiny security patches @ 20-40mb(April & August), which took over an hour to install, to add insult to injury. Not even the latest security updates, much less any firmware bug fixes.

And while on this rant, not too happy on LG Stylo 3 either - the stuff LG is removing from the base OS, compounded by their lock down trend.
