Help Galaxy S4 Hotspot

I am trying to do convert my S4 to allow me to tether to it as a hotspot. I am trying to figure this out without annoying anyone, but I also don't want to screw up my phone. I love my phone. It has a new battery and it works better (IMO) than newer versions. I can't figure out which files to download and what to do after that. I'm pretty sure I figured out how to root it a few months ago but I got scared after that.

If you go into Settings > More networks > Tethering and Mobile hotspot > Mobile hotspot > you should be able follow the instructions from there.
My Galaxy S4 Gt i9505 Build number LRX22C.i9505XXUHPK2 has this ability. (Android version 5.0.1 Lollipop)
You are showing SPH-L720 and this may not be available in your version.
If the phone is locked to your carrier - end of story.
Rooting and installing Android Version 8.0 Nougat has the appropriate firmware for this exercise.

That shows as being a Sprint version S4. From what I've read on AF is particularly nasty and won't tether unless one pays Sprint some extra $$$. Could try FoxFi.
