Best For Local Music

I want my Android phone to be able to store my music so I can bluetooth it to other playing devices. I am trying to avoid apps that connect to the internet and are always spamming me. I just want to play my local music file called "playlist" on my phone so that the music can either play the whole list without me clicking individually on the songs or to have a mix function.

Is there a good free app that will do what I want without the gambling spam or ads?

I think the stock Samsung music player in your A5 can do that. Is offline, plays "local" music on the phone, and doesn't have ads.

I use Rocket Player myself, but that is a paid app.

If I go into "My Files" in the Samsung apps then I can access and play the songs that I have transferred there from my pc but you need to mannually click on each song to play....they wont recycle or mix.....

I believe part of your problem is opening up a file through the file manager as opposed to using an actual media player app. Using the file manager, in this instance My Files, you're selectively choosing to open just the file itself. Try using your media player app instead and see how that works out. Using MX Player or VLC when I open up a file it's a matter where once the file is done the next one, in that same directory, just plays automatically until they're all done.

jet audio and power amp are another couple of great apps.... but the one mike suggests is fine. (The one mike suggests isn't a google app.. its from the play store. If you are not using the play store to get your apps, that may explain why so many of your apps are spammy)

Ok thanks.......just downloaded the app and it works fine......just not sure how to turn it off....ha
