I have experienced similar issues. I've noticed that if I have multiple ways to charge the phone (for example, I have two Turbo chargers - one I keep at home and one at work; I also have a car charger and a couple of external backup batteries) some will work fine while another starts to have problems. Sometimes jiggling the plug in the charging port helps. This makes me strongly suspect that the problem is not the phone or the charging port on the phone, but rather the tip of the plug from the cable from the charging device. I think the contacts just eventually wear out or get slightly damaged. Try a different charging device - and, particularly, a device with a different tip. If that works, then it's your Turbo Charger that needs to be replaced (unfortunately, the Turbo Charger units that I have are designed with the charging cable hard-wired to the charger, so you can't just swap out the damaged cable). Hope this helps!
