Over Sharpening irritating for the eyes

I suspect the OP is talking about image processing rather than screen resolution. That's a common problem with smartphone cameras, but could be done with UI elements as well - I've not seen one with the screen on so can't say from experience.

If the problem is just with photos then maybe a different camera app might fix it. If they are over-sharpening the UI then it's not so obvious. I don't know whether a screen density change would address that, or what options the phone has; maybe see whether there is anything in the display or accessibility settings.
