ZTE Zmax Pro, State Of the Development On This Device .

Question....

Did flashfire work on this device???

EDIT: don't remember if it was mentioned or not, and I know that everybody loves TWRP but gotta ask .....
I'm having thoughts on what things / apps work , need to make a full list of noteworthy apps etc that work, then I know what apps and programs/file to start reverse eng.

we could find good stuff in any of those that work on the device, as all an app is is the front-end and all will have code we might need to barrow.

Is this question for me? If so i have it installed, but you might want to give me a little guidance. It has a couple partitions that I didn't even know about (Primary Bootloader, Secondary Bootloader, Secondary Bootloader AP, etc)

The screen just goes black a bit of the way through. I know that it might go black for a little, but I feel like its a bit too long.

also do you know how to show us the out put of ADB Logcat?

we could do a logcat to watch whats going on while the app is active....

That'd be great. How do I?
https://developer.android.com/studio/command-line/logcat.html

the whole rundown is there,

but I'd probably just open a terminal on pc without connecting the device and type.
Code:
adb logcat

and then it'll say
waiting for device

and then open flashfire while plugging it into the pc, and then it'll start dumping Lots of info to the term FAST.
so let that run while you try things on the device.
when you get done unplug.

then copy paste the contents of the term. here

and PLEASE wrap it in code brackets

When connected to the pc awaiting the adb logcat it just reboots its self after a little. I'll try to copy and paste what happened right before.

2 days later.... i'm not very hopeful that you'll still have the info displayed from term.
but hey it'd be nice to have seen.

where ya at on the teamviewer stuff?

I'm reading this ,first things comes to my head...."more than you can afford pal...Ferrari....."smoke him" .need to clean this up .plz

Excuse me, WHAT?
."smoke him"
smoke whom? is that some sort of threat?
.need to clean this up .plz
Clean up what? If you don't have anything Positive to contribute would you mind not commenting ?

that's the sole reason the development of this device keeps getting stalled is bickering from Neewbs and Know-it-all's who
are here to leach and not contribute a single positive sentence

So please don't comment unless your helping us develop this device, or have some valid useful information to discuss here.

I'm sick of creating or posting in these ZTE threads and before we have time to collaborate together and accomplish a Damn thing someone like yourself wanders in to get things all off topic.
which eventually results in another Locked Thread, another dead end for the people searching for more info on the device.

IE:
I'm reading this ,first things comes to my head...."more than you can afford pal...Ferrari....."smoke him" .need to clean this up .plz

WTF does this have to do with anything?
WTF does this even mean?

I believe it's a quote from The Fast and The Furious

Great Movie, But lets please stay on topic here.

we are trying to defeat the security measures on this device.

F&F has nothing to do with it.

I want to see if we can flash the package located here
Code:
https://build.nethunter.com/android-tools/no-verity-opt-encrypt/no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.0.zip

and see if it flashes or fails....
anybody want to try that ?
@lonelyisland369
@armandop_
anybody?

The zip failed to unpack the boot.img. Is there perhaps a way that we can do this manually?

I'm digging through it now, did you check that you dont have signature enforcement enabled in settings of TWRP?

wellll alrighty then, @lonelyisland369 Found something in the code that might make all the difference, do you know the PATH for boot?

Code:
#!/sbin/sh

## start config variables

tmp=/tmp/no-verity-opt-encrypt
bin=$tmp/tools
ramdisk=$tmp/ramdisk
ramdisk_patch=$ramdisk-patch
split_img=$tmp/split-img
# set this only if boot-patcher.sh can't find your boot partition
boot_block=
# set this if you want to back up your boot partition
# boot_backup=/data/local/boot-backup.img

## end config variables
if you get me the correct path for boot,
I'll patch the patch so to say...
