Been wanting to play games with an existing controller i have
(an XBox1 Controller)
i ended up buying this USB female to USB C male

with a Male Micro USB to Male USB with USB 3.0 to USB C
connect it but it keeps saying
"On the old Device, Make sure the USB connection is set to File Transfer Or Media Device (MTP)
Drag down the status bar for the notification panel and change the USB connection if needed"

change it to charge device and also tried MTP device and Charging but nothing happens, looking through apps to see if anything is gonna get it to run.

Is it an original Microsoft Xbox controller or some other third-party one. I seem to remember reading about third-party controllers not being supported
I got two originals and one third party.
Never tried it with a third party one.
But with that said.
It hasnt worked with both originals
One of them is from when they first rolled out the second one is a second generation controller.
None are bluetooth third generation.
