As per #1.6 of 42 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide, unless you are registered on the AT&T network you will need to download and flash the firmware as per Jfalls63 link. The latest and last ever update for the S5 is Android 6.0.1, Marshmallow. To get to Oreo, Android 8.0, requires rooting and flashing a custom ROM which is unavailable to the G900A thanks to AT&T's mega locked down bootloader.
