I have a Nexus 6P that I was perfectly happy with, except battery life.

It was my birthday and after looking around I found the Moto Z Play and decided to gift myself. Got the JBL Moto Mod too.

First, I like gadgets. This is an awesome fast little bit if kit with so far really long batter life. Hasn't died yet.

Love the JBL too.

The MZP got a little warm during the initial charging, but didn't blow up. Thank goodness.

I thought my Nexus's fingerprint reader was fast. This one is faster. I like it on the front. Easy to use when on the desk.

I find this device as fast or faster than the 6P in real world use. Bright, crisp display. Naked, it feels good in the hand and with the JBL Mod connected a but heavy. Still fits in my pocket with the Mod connected. I'm still happy.

It is at least a year keeper. With new Mods maybe longer.

When/if it gets Nougat battery life should be even better. Cool.

Do you have a Moto Z Play? Do you like it?

I want new/more Mods. Plus the camera Mods should be more like $149.99...

Update to my Moto, Play Droid purchase.

Like I said at the beginning, I also own a Nexus 6P. I am so glad I didn't sell it yet.

My MXPD screen cracked. It was in the same pocket my 6P had lived in for over a year, in a case. Took it to unless Verizon. No warranty from them. The manager told me I broke it...

So I sent it in to Moto expecting them to change me. But I got the unit back in 5 days of shipping it. Fixed for free!

I am still keeping it. And the 6P too, just in case.

Ive had my MZP for a year and a half and love it. Recently had to do a factory reset because it would restart randomly. But it was an easy process. Hope actually remembered where everything was at on my phone. It just too time to reinstall everything. Then remembering passwords for all my stuff. I did lose some data for a couple of apps I wish I still had. But it wasn't critical data. Best phone I've ever had.
