I can't deactivate my oem unlock.

I recently rooted my phone, i the updated to the emui 5.0. And since then i am having trouble with root. Can anyone recommend me a root tutorial. This phone came with alot of bloatware that i Don't want, including but not limited to apps like twitter, twitter a systemapp? Please help. I followed one on xda. Developers.

Was that a pushed OTA update? If so, that will usually cause problems with rooted and modified firmware.

As that was posted over a year ago, I suspect it might not work with the updated firmware. Might be best to re-flash the firmware into a known good working state, then see about rooting it from there. ROMs and details for the Honor 6X are here.

If your only reason for rooting is bloatware removal, have you tried disabling it instead?

Disabling uninstalls updates to an app as well as preventing it from running. This is important because updates share space with your apps, but the original system app is in a different storage partition and so removing that would not give you any additional space. So if it does allow you to disable the app that in effect gives you everything that removing it would have done.

Though if you've rooted already, maybe if you say what your problem with root is someone might have some ideas? Though to be honest I do second Mike's suggestion of getting the phone into a well-defined state and proceeding from there.
