So i began the process of rooting my galaxy tab E 8.0 by following the steps below:

-Installed Samsung USB drivers on PC (Pretty sure i did this right)
-Installed TWRP using Odin (Done with no issues)
-Booted to TWRP recovery (Done with no issues)
-Installed SuperUser from .ZIP file on SD card, and made sure NOT to let TWRP install Super User (Pretty sure i did this right)
-Rebooted device

Everything seems to have been done correctly but i am stuck on a boot loop. Its a very slow boot loop and takes up to 8mins to loop after boot. I have tried booting into TWRP recovery and erasing Cache and Data, which didnt fix the loop boot. In the top left corner it says Set Warranty Bit : Kernel
Any ideas? Thanks to all who reply!

try this: format data by typing yes in twrp wipe options. Reboot recovery so data can be unmounted and then flash either the sr1 or sr5 version of supersu. When you've done that, factory reset in twrp wipe options and reboot. You should now have root and a fresh setup but samsung devices can take up to 15 mins to boot after the procedure. Make a coffee and a sandwich and enjoy root 😊
