Well this is a terrible story!
My new boss (he is in charge of all of their projects this side) just got stabbed 4 times in the back!
He said I must still start on Monday (yes I took the offer I could not resist it is just too important to me to turn such an awesome offer down if the country goes up in flames I will decide what to do then but it might not even go up in flames) they said they need me desperately that side now as things have started rolling.
I can't believe it what a bad way to start off a grand set of massive new projects!
This is very sad news
Luckily our project manager is still alive and kicking! I like him worked with him before very nice level headed guy and is nice and easy to work with and allows me to hire who I want to hire that get the best results.
What happened was that there was an altercation between him and one of the semi skilled workers (he is qualified to do a certain kind of work but thats it) because they were working in unsafe conditions and our PM - he didn't yell or scream he just warned them to please not work in such insane conditions but he gave them a bit of a lecture because it was not safe what they were doing. It was for the one Diamond boat that will suck up diamonds off the coast of Namibia.
The next thing what happened was he turned his back and this horrible piece of shit and this piece of shit stabbed him in the back 4 times!
He is in critical condition but is still alive he is going to be operated on today.
His kidneys are a bit messed up now (from the stabbing) and he is in hospital so unfortunately one of our main project managers is down and out for a bit - very bad news.
The ass hole that stabbed him in the back like several times is now under arrest and will go to jail for attempted murder... this country is such a disaster - I bet he will be out of jail in less than a few months! There is no justice in this country.
On the plus side though they have added the big power station (that is luckily close to the other sites) to the mix for me to do their inspections for them I am one of the only few people that is qualified to do such work ..... but they need to increase my salary.... they can't just start adding things to what was not originally contractually agreed upon so this is some very good news for me financially. I will get a much higher salary now.
The bad news is this will increase my work load dramatically lol I will have no life now thats for sure! I won't get any time off as the loss in production will be astronomical or insane.
The ****er that stabbed him I have worked with him before on the largest LPG gas terminal in the Southern Hemisphere - he is definitely a piece of shit. I really don't like him at all he was always causing trouble / shit (arguing and complaining all the ****ing time and he has also blackmailed people before) and not working with people thats why I really don't like him.
I would never hire somebody like him ever. Not in a billion years!
The only reason why Lewie employed him was because the job was a very very small one and only needed him for 3 days and he thought the work that needs to be done will get done and then he can bugger off again. Lewie didn't know about the blackmail and other stuff but I warned him not to hire him.
But I warned Lewie never to hire I'm as he is bad news... he has been involved before with gangs and other shit before... just absolute rubbish / scum.
I want the police to throw away the key!
He must rot there.
Now I am going to start a brand new job and our main project manager won't even be around to coordinate properly now maybe for a while very bad news :/
I am just grateful though that he is till alive and that evil piece of shit didn't kill him luckily he is not dead. If he was dead then that would have been a terrible tragedy
