Hey, I'm having a Phishing problem on my phone, specifically in the Google Chrome app.
On any web page with ads, it just changes page without my permission to a weird page saying something along the lines of "congratulations! you have one [blah]", and will be accompanied by a voice saying "congratulations" in either an American accent or British one, always female. This happens every time a page has ads on Chrome, so long as I'm connected to the internet.
I've tried scanning with AVG, Malwarebytes and Zemana, and none of them can find the problem, even though AVG apparently "protects you from phishing attacks". I've tried reinstalling Chrome, (or rather, reverting it to "factory settings", because there isn't a complete uninstall option), then restarting the phone, I've downloaded an Android update hoping that would fix it. Some sites suggest removing the "malicious app", but I haven't installed anything since long before the attacks started, and I can't find anything malicious-looking in the app list in settings.
I have no idea what I'm doing here; this is the first time I've gotten these problems. If anyone can lend a hand in trying to fix this problem, I would really appreciate the help.
Thanks,
R-Critter.
