Hopefully someone can help. My secure folder on my Note 8 is linked to an old Samsung account that no longer exists. I forgot the password to the secure folder and now it tells me to log into my account to sign in, the trouble is it is showing the old Samsung account which I cant access and it wont let me change to my existing Samsung account.

I cant even delete the secure folder and start again

Any solutions greatly appreciated

I don't think they get rid of the account.
Can you do the forgot password for the Samsung account?

If you remove your Samsung account and sign in with your new one, what happens?

I have to do that to update themes I purchased under my previous Samsung account.

I'm signed in on the new account which works fine for everything except secure folder. I've tried deleting my new account and signing in on the old account but it wont accept the account details.
I've also tried to sign in to the old account on the web and have reset the password but it still wont let me in.
The trouble seems to be that the Samsung account doesn't exist anymore but there is no way of updating the user name for the secure folder without signing into it first - chicken and egg!
