Help Android Emulator help

Hi there , i would like to know if any one else is having this issue . See after the window 10 update on may 22 , 2018 .
When I open up my Nox player app Now all i get is the blue screen of death ? this should not be happening , but any way, is there any thing on the emulator i can do ? or is this a windows 10 mishap ?

Any suggestions would be so helpful

Thanks and have a great day

Windows BSODs can often be caused by drivers. So it could be Nox Player needs its drivers updating to work with the new Win10 update. And that would be something for the Nox Player developers to fix and update. Might be worth you emailing them about it, and filing a bug report. Something like this would be affecting many Win10 Nox Player users probably.

You could try uninstalling the Win10 update that caused the problem, although running Win without current patches is not recommended IMO. Or try another Android emulator.

If it's a VMDK (Virtual Machine Disk), which is your Android virtual machine image that includes all the installed apps/games and their data, try opening and running it in something like Virtual Box or VMware. https://www.virtualbox.org/
Virtual Box is frequently updated and should run with latest Win10 no problems.

I guess Nox Player is just a re-packaged, modified and skinned version of Virtual Box(which is open source) that includes Android already. If Nox Player does have a real problem with the latest Win10 update, the developers in Beijing will need to update and fix their software. FWIW most Android emulators for PC do come from China.

That should open and run in Virtual Box or VMware then. As for transferring Android game play data out of your virtual disk, and using it in another Android environment or Android device. Dunno, it might all depend on the particular games themselves, if they have any provision for that, like online storage, Google Drive, exporting data, etc.

It's likely Nox Player. Just updated Windows 10 last night to latest version and MemuPlayer still works fine.

Curious as to what games won't transfer. I haven't seen a game that doesn't have cloud save in a long while.

Chan the games that will not save are from a web site Big fish . I have tidal town and sunkin city ! they dont have cloud storage for there games at all . i have them saved on a restore thing but its on a vdmk file so can not just transfer them like usual .. i tried to put on blue stacks BUT .. is will not go over as the games are not saved as Stand alone on the vdmk . If that makes any since ? I know it strange not having cloud storage for them

Try using an app to back them up. Maybe Helium will work.

thanls any way . But i have come to the conclusion that i will never be able to play these games again because of big fish site it self , as if they had cloud storage i could have got another program to run with it - they have even gave up on the support for some of the games and can not post or message people there no longer - i will have to find a alternative to these games i will like , as finding out backing up on some of the emulators can not save certain games have to get the whole dang program instead - it just a mess to me Maybe some day another company will come along and make some thing like these and have cloud storage for them .. i dont know . It is just wishful thinking on my part
