NEED HELP! Whenever I Lock my S7 Edge it doesnt let me turn on and flickers

Basically my S7 Edge has been having an issue, every time I lock the screen it doesn't let me use it again. It flickers at the bottom half with a flash of white, and the only way to fix it is to restart it. That also only works sometimes, and when it doesn't it 'dims' out the S7 Edge logo and the Optus carrier logo. The other temporary fix was a backup I made when the glitch wasn't occurring and I would restore my phone with it and after an hour the flickering and dimming out problem stopped but I made the dumb decision of resetting my PC and lost that backup.
I know I've not been explaining this the best so I made a video. Hopefully you'd be willing to watch.

Looks like some sort of hardware failure, possibly the screen or logic board. Which would be professional repair or replacement required.

So it wouldn't be a software problem? I haven't tried to reset it, but that's because I'm worried that. Might make it worsw

Definitely looks like a hardware issue. By any chance did the phone get wet or exposed to a damp environment? I'd say it was a failure of the screen circuitry or GPU. I seriously doubt that any software solution could fix that.

damn, any chance they allow you to get a replacement even if I have a pretty big crack through the middle
Also about the water, yeah it used to be in water for about 5 minutes in water daily

Honestly, with a cracked screen and water exposure, there's not much you can do but replace the bad components.If it's the screen and GPU, then i really don't think it makes economic sense to fix it. It could easily cost as much as a new phone.
