So I haven't used the thing in a while and went to use it today. Plugged it in and came up showing it was charging, but not really. Then, with the same thing on the screen, this is in the top left corner:

I try and turn on the device and shows the boot up screen and stuff, but still with the stuff in the top. AND.... does nothing!!

So I can never get it passed that. I try and do a factory rest by going into the menu thing (what ever the heck it's called) by pressing and holding volume up, home, and power. Nothing!

So I tried and going into download mode by pressing volume down, home, and power and flashing the firmware back onto it with Odin... but it FAILS! (Sorry didn't get a screenshot of that.)

Then the tab says something like: "an error has occurred while updating the device software". That and the download screen was the only thing I could get to show up, and not anything else like before.

Now it doesn't do anything. It's been plugged in and stuff. I'm afraid it's HARD bricked!

I don't know how this all happened!? I haven't even been using it and then when I do It does that!! I'm not going to take it anyplace to get fixed if possible as It would probably cost a lot and It's not worth enough to get out of it (It's probably 3 or 4 years old) what I would pay for repairs so no point in that.

Ideas??
