Changing the subject randomly - today I learned about a useful Microsoft invention: they came up with a language superset for Javascript that actually makes Javascript a usable programming language. It's called 'Typescript'. Finally, a way to really get going with the client-side Javascripting that developers have been struggling with for years.

My special little Sweet Loretta Fat died this afternoon, it's a sad day here. She was never really 'right', her head tipped and she wasn't steady but she plowed on along. I will miss her silly little face

Here's her baby picture, before she got to be my wobbly 'special' girl. She turned 12 last month.

What's the average lifespan for whatever she was?

She was a Leopard gecko, their average lifespan is 15-20 years. I have three that will (or have) turn 14 this year, one that will turn 8 and one I'm not sure of but is around 5 I think.

Loretta had a few issues/events/episodes/whatever when she was young, the vet really didn't think she'd pull through either time. They were internal bleeds from somewhere. They took their toll on her but she pulled through both times...a little more 'special' each time. I think she had brain damage and neurological issues as a result.
