Help S7 - When forwarding emails they are sent as an attachment

Samsung Galaxy S7

My buddy has his email setup as Exchange with some Mail Solution's company/server

When he forward emails from his PC the forward like normal
When he forwards emails from his S7 they always forward the email as an attachment.

Samsung built in client /Account/EmailSettings/AccountName/
We looked through settings but there is no option to send as an attachment... even if we wanted to.

My S8 does not have that option either yet I do not have this issue.

Is there a secret setting somewhere?

Try Gmail app and you won't have that problem.

I am more interested in fixing the issue.

It appears other galaxy users maybe do not have this issue so it appears this could be fixed somehow.

@KBU2 is probably right. The stock email client on Samsung phones is really not that great. Plus, it doesn't play well with Exchange. If the Gmail app isn't your cup of tea, try K9 or Maildroid.

That might be the culprit, he uses exchange and I use IMAP.

Ok update...
When he forwards to my gmail account it is normal
When he forwards to my business account (web site server) it comes in as an attachment.

So now it seems my host site does not like his galaxy because per above from his office PC it works fine.

Time to ask my host.
