Greetings. I'm writing another review of an Aukey product. It is the Aukey KM-G9 87 Key Mechanical Keyboard. I do not receive any pay for the reviews, just the product to give my honest opinion about.
First, I wish that there was some way to plug this keyboard into the SGN8, but there isn't at this time. The keyboard itself is very compact. It has all of the basic keys and it is a no frills device. It has a long cord that plugs into the USB port on your desktop or laptop. The integration was seemless and as soon as I pluged it into my laptop, it was immediately recognized and nothing else had to be done to make it compatible.
The keys are very responsive and they push up well. Meaning, you know when you have pushed a key and are ready for the next one. About the only issue that I had with this keyboard is that the keys are a little bit noisy. I haven't had it long enough to know if the noise level will decrease after much use, but it is something that I got used to pretty quickly. I do have an ergo-curved keyboard for my desktop that I love, but the new Aukey keyboard is perfect for my laptop. I no longer had to worry about cleaning the smuges off of the laptop. It is also nice to be able to sit how I want and to type without having to have my hands forced into a position on the laptop surface. It also has tilt "feet" so that you can type with it flat or slightly tilted.
Overall, I do like this compact keyboard and I would recommend it.
