So I bought a replacement battery for my K3 Note, the BL243 battery.
That's the correct battery, but it doesn't fit the K3. Upon further visual check, it turned out that the replacement battery is a Li-on battery, while the original battery that came with the device is a Li-po battery. The Li-po battery is thinner by 1~1.5mm, that's why it fits perfectly.
You can force the replacement battery into the phone, but it's very difficult to close the caseback. I'm afraid that it would crack over time.
I'm not sure if this Li-on battery fits other phones, but if have the K3 Note, please make sure that you buy the Li-po version and not the Li-on.
