Help Expandable storage (Micro SD) limit

And my phone is rated to accommodate 'up to 2tb of expandable memory'

Companies say that to tell you which model of micro SD cards the phone supports which in this case the sdxc 64GB-2TB means that your phone can support micro sdxc cards see this article for more info https://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2520/~/sd/sdhc/sdxc-specifications-and-compatibility

It's a fairly convincing lie though because when I insert it into the computer to copy files, it comes up as having 980Gb of free space.
I did just look on Amazon and Newegg and yes, 512gb was the highest capacity SD available in Samsung, SanDisk and Pny
The only company that has a true 512GB sdxc card is Samsung and they aren't sold online they are only in Samsung's retail store, but you'll have to find the nearest one to you from their website here https://www.samsung.com/us/computin...us-memory-card-w-adapter-512gb-mb-mc512ga-am/
