Help Moto X Pure Edition navigation buttons stop working after android update

Moto X Pure Edition XT1575, after latest Android update 7.0(Oct.2017), Kernel 3.10.84 (Oct.30-2017), System version 25.211.1, Build Number NPHS25.200-23-1.

Soft navigation buttons (◄ ● ■ at the bottom of the screen) got lost, they show in the screen, but unresponsive, in order to get them doing something (very slow and erratic), you need to make Screen Size = Largest, then they some-how kind-of work a little bit, when you change screen size to whatever other option the buttons are shown but no action when you touch them. This is clearly a software bug, resetting the phone to factory defaults or any other reset including Wipe Cache Partition, don't fix this software bug.

Called Motorola for support and they say the software in the phone is made by Google. . . I have seen this report in other models, both Motorola and other brands. Someone know if Google have this in the fix queue?

:). . . I was about to remark that
"resetting the phone to factory defaults or any other reset including Wipe Cache Partition, don't fix this software bug"
I tried every "solution" out there, scaled Motorola level 2 support and they couldn't fix the problem, at the end they gave up and said, "you know what?, our software is developed by Google, go ahead and contact them. . ." Sweet, isn't it?
Thus my final question: could someone know if Google is addressing it?
