Help Moto G XT1069 stuck on "Warning bootloader unlocked" screen

I'm facing a problem with a Moto G 2014 XT1069 device. What happened is as follows: this friday the device did shutdown and wasn't powering up by just pressing the power button. Because of that another person tried to help, she powered up in fastboot mode by pressing PWR UP + VOL - and then she selected the "Normal Powerup" option.

The point is that after that the device got stuck on the Motorola logo for something like 5 minutes. She then considered that the device needed formatting and returned to fastboot mode and tried a factory reset. What happened then is that there appeared one error, something like "not available".

After this error, she tried to solve the issue through fastboot. She connected the device on the PC, unlocked the bootloader and tried to reinstall the rom.

The problem is that after all this process the device now gets stuck on the "Warning bootloader unlocked" screen. It doesn't progress any further than that.

On the other hand, on that screen, if I press PWR UP + VOL - the device gets into fastboot mode. But if I choose "Normal Powerup" or "Recovery" it just returns to the "Warning bootloader unlocked" screen and nothing else happens.

There are also more two issues that appeared: one with the battery, after all of this the device seems to not be charging at all. Today the device was left charging for almost 3 hours and in the end it had just 2% of battery. Before all this happened the battery was charging normally.

The other issue that appeared is that I've tried to use fastboot to make all of this right, but I couldn't. I've installed the Motorola Device Manager on the PC together with the Android SDK, but when I get the device into fastboot mode, and when I connect the USB cable to the PC, the PC doesn't recognize it.

Indeed the message "USB Connected" doesn't appear on the screen of the device and when I type fastboot devices into CMD nothing is returned. Now, this USB issue I don't know if it's due to the device or to the PC I've used.

I believe that when they tried to reinstall the rom, something quite wrong happened. I do believe, though, that it is possible to solve this.

How can I solve all this mess? How can I correct all of this and make the device work again? Any help is appreciated!

Thanks very much in advance!

Thanks @Thom. Some moments after posting I've found out that there was one specific Moto G 2014 sub-forum, thanks for moving it here.

Just let me add one thing that may be important, the device is not rooted, the only thing that happened is that the bootloader was unlocked, but actually as soon as everything is fixed I'll lock it again.
