Accessories Using the Tab S4's S-Pen w/ Note 9

Has any one done that/ Use the pen that comes with a Tab S4 with a Note 9? Is the pen not just the same pen that comes with the Note 9 but in a larger form factor? (e.g. regular pen size) I mean the Tab S4 is essentially a larger screen Note 9 minus the ability to send/receive calls. Same pen apps and functionality on the S4 as on the Note 9.

I mean the spen that comes with the note is plenty fine for me and perhaps for the casual note 8/9 user who frequents this forum. I’d like to not have to carry around a bigger pen when I can use the one that’s inside already.

It's convenient. But too small and light. It's jumped out of my hands a few times. Using the open for the Tab S4 seems like it would feel more comfortable and natural. An option.

of course it's an option.

i don't have the issues with the spen that you do and i use it just about everyday. at any rate, enjoy using the s4 pen with the note.

You can use the Tab 4 Pen, but you will need to remove the Spen from your Note 9 to allow it to work. I use my Tab 3 pen regularly with my Note 9 as I do like the more natural pen size.

There must be a battery saving feature which only activates the pen matrix when the pen is removed.

Thanks for the tip. And it is best the Tab S4 porn feels like an actual por that I'm considering buying the pen before even getting a S4... Or the next version...S5? Wonder if we'll get it this year.
