LG G7 - Only 9 threads?

Lately, my old S5 is showing signs of impending death. Checked the Verizon site for a suitable replacement and think that the G7 may be what I'm looking for.
My next visit was to see what was said, here, on AF. Either it's so good, no one has issues, it's crap and no one has bothered with it.
Even the cheap Walmart phone that I bought to use as a music player has more than this.

What's up with the G7?

Yeah, not sure about the scant threads in this forum, but for me, my G7 has been excellent (Verizon). With the exception of some misbehaving apps, I've had no issues :D

After my horrible experience with the LG G6, I was left with a very suspicious and negative view of LG. With the G6 it was 10 months of endless problems. The chances of me owning another one are slim to probably absolutely never:rolleyes:
Ah man, sorry to hear that. I jumped from the G5 to the G7. I had minimal, if any issues with my G5.

I got the LG G6 to replace my Nexus 6. I had been having problems for months with my Nexus 6, I had done darn near everything short of rooting the device to keep it going.
I researched dozens and dozens of phones, Anroid , iPhones, I looked at everything LG, htc, Samsung and apple had out, I checked Amazon and look at various phones. I complied a list and pound for pound the LG G6 keep coming in first place. It had stellar reviews. Yet my gut kept telling me not to buy it. I think my alternate choice was a note 8. But the day we went to TMobile the note note 8 was $850 and the lg G6 was $550, price won out.
But now the LG G6 is a memory

Okay so this thread is about phone problems, well gather around boys and girls and listen to my tale of woe.
I was but a wee lad when my mom and husband#3 moved us to a semi trailer park several miles outside of the town of Olathe Colorado.
This was 1978 or 1979 back then Olathe had pretty much nothing going for it and today well it's a pretty much a semi functioning ghost town.
As people being to move further out into the country side the small town of Olathe had begun to install telephone poles and power lines.
The place my parents bought was roughly a half mile or mile to where the telephone poles came to an end. In our little section where three or four other trailer homes all without phone service and power.
So how did we communicate:thinking:
Normally we would walk over to the neighbors and speak with them or typically you would meet at the local dinner , the adults would talk about everything under the sun from A-Z while us kids ran off to do whatever kids do in a one stop light town;)
By the time we moved away we still hadn't gotten telephone serviceo_O

Here's my story. I have an HTC10, which I LOVE(!), but, last weekend I was attempting to transfer a file to the SD card. About half way through the transfer it stopped. I unplugged the phone and looked at settings and the card wasn't recognized. it had been in the phone for almost three years. Popped it out and tried a known good 16gb SD card. Nothing. Everything else on the phone works fine.
So today I'm waiting on FedEx to bring my new LG G7 phone.
