Phantom Touches ...

There's a thread around here which I cannot find where someone had the same issue and it ended up being an app they installed causing phantom touches.
I believe this is the thread you're referring to. It's in the Moto Z² Force board.

The culprit turned out to be a Dairy Queen app.

I did a Factory Reset, and the Phantom Touch happened in only a few minutes. So far, today, no Phantom Touch, yet .....

I hope it's sorted but do you have a screen protector on? If you do and the problem persist I'd suggest taking it off as I've heard of certain screen protectors causing problems like that :)
