Hello guys,
I had note 8 2 weeks ago and it got android pie update, i saw samsung schedule and noticed that S9, S9+ & note 9 will have the pie update on January but the weird thing is when i upgraded my note 8 to s9+ and tried to look for updates it says like this

Is my phone will get the update or not, and if it's is there an approximated date for it
Thanks in advance

Your screenshot doesn't show the actual Android version. Easiest way to tell though, if it says "9.0" and not "8.0" under Android version, it's had the Pie update that Samsung has been rolling out.

Apparently US carrier unlocked variant devices are the last to receive updates, something to do with carrier approvals. That's what I've read on AF.

The problem is my friend who i bought the s9+ from told me that he got the update but disabled it somehow because he hasn't good internet to download it.. but when he made factory reset it says that the phone has last update
