I got my phone second hand and someone had previously done something with it. Knox was tripped and device status was custom. So I tried using odin to flash new firmware to change status to official. Now I am stuck in download mode with the following error "An error has occured while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software." This does nothing. For some reason the CSC is German and the phone was manufactured in Korea.

Thanks for the quick reply I have the samsung galaxy s8 (SM-G950F) I tried flashing a few firmwares from updato but they kept giving me errors. I've managed to get twrp on the phone so I think now I can flash a firmware?

I'm trying to revert to have official status but don't have any idea how to do it. I wiped the phone before so i'm pretty sure there is currently no OS on it.
