"Fly Me To The Moon" - Jazz standard written by Bart Howard
Originally titled "In Other Words" and was written in 3/4 time (waltz). It was first recorded by Kaye Ballard in 1954. Peggy Lee encouraged Bart to change the name to "Fly Me To The Moon" in 1960. Although written in 3/4, it is most often played as a 4/4 (swing time) song. It was recorded over 500 times, but probably most famously associated with Frank Sinatra.
Lyrics: Well, take me back down where cool water flow, yeh
Let me remember things I love
Stoppin' at the log where catfish bite,
Walkin' along the river road at night,
Barefoot girls dancin' in the moonlight
