"Statesboro Blues" - a Piedmont blues song written and first recorded by Blind Willie McTell in the late 1920s and popularized in the 1970s by the Allman Brothers Band.
Originally called "Come Softly" but the owner of the record company thought the title could be misunderstood to be risque and therefore censored so he added the "To Me". They singers never say "Come Softly To Me" in the song.
