Can we start a new chant

Being an LA guy, I'm sick of the beat LA chant that you here in all of sports. Can we now start a new one. We need a Beat Boston chant. There dominance in all of the major sports (at least right now) is astounding. But I'm kind of getting tired of it....... lol

Thoughts?

No chant irritates me more than the Atlanta Braves "Tomahawk Chop". I thought Californians were too laid back to chant.

That's annoying as well, but the Beat LA chant crosses all of sports and it really I hate it. I guess for much odd or sports scene is terrible save for the Dodgers.

I also just want to point out that Boston had been tearing it up in all sports. The Bruins looked unstoppable last night in hockey. If they play like that, they will most definitely win the next 3 games and will be hoisting the Stanley Cup. The Red Sox are looking good this year. And had long as the Pats have Brady they could win it all again.

BEAT BOSTON, BEAT BOSTON, BEAT BOSTON

doesn't sound as good as Beat LA, but it's a start..... lol

Hmmm. We must be watching two different teams.

The Red Sox are barely over 500 and the whole AL east has been having a lackluster season so far. I think Baltimore is going to rally in the second half and take the division :eek:

I like it. Yeah I guess I was referring to last year winning the world series. I assumed they were doing good again this year..... lol I only pay attention to the west.

We already have a chant. It's been around since the Celtics / Lakers rivalry in the 80s but we have used it a lot more this year.

The song we sing is the National Anthem before a game begins. Canada does it too.

wow...
we don't do the national anthem.... (unless its an international game...)
But then during the match.. we are singing.. and chanting... and shouting and stuff.

(you can tell when we're doing badly.. because thats when the singing stops)

we add songs for players if they are doing well... and you've got to drown out the opposing crowd
